Too Old For New Friends

Let's just start with this - YESTERDAY EVENING I WAS PISSED. To sum it all up, I got to my meeting only to be "spoken to" about my lack of "confidentiality". I'm not going to get into all the details but I will say that I've learned that:
  1. Just when you think you can trust someone, DON'T!
  2. The more you know, the more you should shut the FU*K up!

So because I'm still a bit burnt by all of this, and I don't really know how to tackle this situation moving forward I need to vent. Leaky sent out this really good "Thought of the day", so I'm going to share it:

"Repetition does not transform a lie into a truth."
No matter how many different ways you spin a lie, it is still a lie. No matter how many times you rationalize it as just a slip of the tongue (misspoke to be exact) it is indeed still a lie. Lying is not a display of leadership, rather a cowardly act designed to create the false impression of an ability to lead.

So to that "new found friend" that decided to take my words and turn them around - KICK ROCKS LIAR!
