Ignorance Wins Yet Again

When will the senseless violence end? No seriously, when is it going to end. Yesterday morning I was woken up only to get awful news. Tell me how you can take another life with no care or regard? How can you not think of the consequences and repercussions? How can you not think of what they stand to lose, and who will lose them? What gives ANYONE the right to just take what is not theirs or that which was never given to them? Tell me - HOW DARE anyone play God? What's worse is, how can you forgive someone after such an act? How can you want to be a Christian when someone was taken from your life?

I know right now Maliek is healing from her own untimely passing but she did post a very accurate "Thought of the Day" today:

From a gospel singer whose songs inspire and change lives - Yolanda Adams
"I don't have time to pretend that I am not missing you. I know your in good hands, the same hands that hold my heart. And I will cherish every moment we spent as a gift from God above, for he takes care of all fragile hearts."

My heart is going out to the Smith family, especially to those two little girls who now have to experience life without a mother. I have you all deep in my thoughts and prayers and ask that God continues to offer you the comfort you need to get through this rough time and heal your broken hearts.
