Interesting thing I observed the other day. On my facebook page I have a Sex and the City quote. I haven't changed my quote in quite sometime but I usually make it something relavent to how I feel at the moment. I don't remember when last I changed my quote but it happened to be a snippet from a conversation Big and Carrie had. Big says "How's tricks" and Carrie responds "Tricks are for KIDS". How true this statment is yet the older we get it seems the more tricks people have up their sleeves.
Take for example my long time "old man". Why is it around every August he wants to resurface? Last year it was the "lost without you" text this year I get the "I'm in your neck of the woods and I want to see you" text. Tell me this, if I'm some anomoly that you've been longing for why the fuck do you keep going about with this constant disappear/resurface thing! Just when I've completely forgotten about him he always manages to show up. What's up with that. Furthermore why is he old enough to know how to act but acts the most childish of all the men I encounter. I just don't get it
Women of a certain age - is this the type of crap women my age will be dealing with for the next 10, 15, or even 20 years? If it is, Jesus take the wheel!
