I think we all learned a long time ago - NEVER bite the hand that feeds you. With that said, Ms. Know it All seems to have the disorder that won't let her stop doing that.
I understand when working with people you need to know their quirks, their work habits, their style and anything else to keep a comfortable work environment. But what do you do when someone's quirk is her lack of social skills, her work habit is somewhat of a "crab in a barrel", and her style is the reason the office cannot be comfortable when she's in it? What happens when she's your boss? What happens when although in a level of power she doesn't seem to understand that we work as a team and that this job is not a competition? What then? How do you make it a comfortable work space for you?
I'm at my wits end at this point. I clearly know that it's time to move on but I also know that the economic market isn't want it used to be. People are getting laid off at Christmas...Christmas. Companies are closing with less than a week's notice. Folks are offering $50K for positions that should be offering $80K. Just like this isn't the time in the market for sellers, this isn't the time for job seekers either.
Signed,
Praying because that's all I can do
Frustrated beyond belief
