I'm feeling the Movie Rush

As of Sunday the Oscars have come and gone, and I must admit, I did not watch it. Why you may ask? Well that's simple. Most of the movies that get those critical acclaims are movies that I either never heard of, or do not care to see. I think the only movie this year that I actually knew and wanted to see was Juno. The Oscars are a bit over my head, and at times just plain boring. I rather watch the Golden Globes or the SAG Awards before I watch another Oscar (that is unless they surprise me with multiple nominations for a movie that was my all time favorite of the year, and the cast actually has a shot at winning, like Dreamgirls - excuse me as I zone out a bit and listen to the soundtrack at Napster).

But anyway, despite the Oscars I am excited to still go to the movies, ESPECIALLY after hearing my two favorite TV shows are coming to the big screen this year. First of course is:


Yes my "Sex and the City" is set to debut on May 30, 2008. I'm so happy. I think I'm going to see it about 3 times, and of course I'll own it (as I own every season). I'm trying to rally my girlfriends together to watch it as a group and do a girlfriends weekend just because of the SATC spirit. I'm so in heaven. Yes I'm being a huge girl right now, but you just don't seem to understand how SATC got me out of a huge funk. It's that perfect girly girl show that made you love life, love your girls, and love LOVE.

The next movie that's coming, folks don't know as much about but I'm sure excited to see it:

"NOAH'S ARC" is coming to the big screen. For those fans who are pissed about them not being picked up for a third season, especially after that HUGE cliffhanger, you will be happy to know that this movie is going to be our season three. AND there's going to be a wedding. Hmmmm I wonder who is getting married. I can't wait. I hope the entire original cast will be in this (especially sexy Wade and Ricky).
